-Today one of my students wrote the word perfect and spelled it purfuckt...HA! We worked on how there is an "e" sound in the word perfect and not "u" : )
-When talking about how dinosaurs are extinct with my first graders, I asked the students "What do you think extinct means?" One of my little ones said "It means it stinks...PU." He looked at me like "poor you, you have no idea what stinks mean!"
They're so cute!
